04-April-2008 : Hello all. This is an update to update you, that there is not an update yet... Next two weeks I will be busy updating(downgrading?) one of my test PCs (from 64-bit to 32-bit as some programs are not yet 64-bit compatible and give different compression on x64 compared to x32) and playing a chess tournament. After these two weeks I will update the site again.

PAQ8O10 still contains a bug; after some point in the MFC compression
I think problem is in .mrb detection. False positives.


EDIT:
Commented out .mrb and .wav detection
Created uncompressed zip file from 500 mb office folder. Used opiton -0.
But: Transform fails at 318767104, input=255 decoded
=255, skipping...

means decoding fails at point when first byte is in BLOCK X and second is in other ....

I mean it cant fail if input is 255 and decoded is 255. But it is programmed so...

removed .mrb part from paq8o10 no version schange, files at svn

Put your testing on hold.
Run tests and bmp file detection without header is problem. After removing it, my test did not show errors on Transform.
