I believe that all HP*s are a Hutter Prize entry, the site probably isnt actualized that much to include the latest additions...

    EDIT:Something has been changed:

    paq8hp10 is a Hutter prize entry. I tested it on enwik8. http://cs.fit.edu/~mmahoney/compression/text.html# 1334
and it is the current leader.

I don't know about the change but Alexander Rhatushnyak said that the version I tested only works with the -7 option (940 MB memory) and he was going to fix it to work with the other options. He did this for paq8hp9 too.

It will take about 24 hours to compress enwik9 and I don't think it would beat paq8hp8 -8. paq8hp9 and paq8hp10 use too much memory with -8 to run on my 2 GB Athlon-64 without disk thrashing. That is why paq8hp8 is the leader on enwik9.

I believe paq8hp10.bak.zip is an old version replaced by paq8hp10 the same day. I only tested the newer version.
