I have just been playing around with some of the older versions of PIMPLE and was so impressed by the results from PIMPLE 1.0b10c that I decided to post them here.

PIMPLE 1.0b10c is a single file compressor like Quad and TC which was designed specifically for benchmark use only. Compression is very impressive but it can't compete with the latest Quad engine for speed.

I noticed that in some cases new Quad compresses even better than this old version of PIMPLE, being incomparable faster.

    Sure!
13,260,732 bytes - both compression and decompression speed is 154kB/s. Actually, its just a few kBs better than PIM v1.25
