Fast PPMII+VC Compressor

Fast PPMII+VC compressor (based on PPMd var. J1 by D. Shkarin) , May 2006.

What is your opinion of this?

I know this compressor. It uses the same basic principles as TC - additionally to the main PPM engine use matching model as an approximation of higher orders or as a deterministic contexts (such as in PPM*). I think it's good compressor!

Do you think that Matt should add it to his large text benchmark?

Why not? But IMHO, this compressor is more PPMd than any other and in some cases can be called just PPMd clone...

This program did not perform as well as I expected on the large text benchmark.
