    What is the best algorithm speed equal to or greater than 160kbps?

    You mean 160 kbits /s = 20 KBytes /s ?

    wow, i guess nearly any compression algorithm can be faster than that...

    Depends on your processor etc speed. Not something that's easy to answer i'm affraid.
