HIP/HCC implements only a subset of CUDA, requires Linux, Haswell+ and Fury. It may be great for HPC, but useless for desktop software
I have written a seperate thread. If you have any idea kindly repond.
I am in need of understanding libbsc vs pigz, as pigz(parallel implementation of gzip) is performing better than libbsc, where libbsc is running in GPU and pigz running in CPU.
They are different algorithms. But still GPU is having more number of cores than CPU.
Is there any GPU implementations available for gzip? (There are papers related to it)
