    Can someone explain how i do RePacks(If possible in German)

    Hey Guys,
    i found out abourepacks like a month ago. And now i wanna try to make my own ones. I already got a Game which i want to RePack and Maybe to Crack. It's Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. But what have i to do? As u see i am an noob. (DOn't be confused if u din't understzand the following: It's German) Am liebsten wäre es mir wenn es mir vielleicht sogar jemand auf Deutsch erklären könnte. Wie gesagt ich bin noch Grün hinter den Ohren, aber Lernbereit und Lernwillig. Bereits getan habe ich folgendes:
    Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris als Game installiert
    Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris als RePack installiert(um Unterschiede zu sehen)
    FreeArc, InnoSetup, RessourceHacker und dotPeek installiert
    Und die Steam API.dll Files von Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris mit der von GTA V und der gerepackten verglichen.

    As I already said I am really a noob on this Topic, but I want and I will learn.
    What I already did:
    Installed Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris from Steam
    Installed Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris as RePack(to see the differences)
    Installed FreeArc, InnoSetup, RessourceHacker and dotPeek
    Looked at the Steam_API.dll files of Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris GTA V and the repacked one to see differences.

    What should i do next?

    Games are frequently encrypted and/or switch to using new codecs (like oodle/kraken instead of zlib),
    so there's no automated method to repack any game.

    Interesting forum with benchmarks for specialized data

    I see this LOLZ (LZNA clone? https://encode.su/threads/3281-copy-...ll=1#post62781 ) is indeed quite popular there.

    Adaptive rANS seems certain in LOLZ - from https://krinkels.org/resources/lolz.264/
    lolz - a compressor based on adaptive rans, suitable for any data, but shows the best results on structured data. Special models have been made for dxt textures and raw graphics (in the distant future, it will probably appear for raw audio). It is possible to compress and expand multithreadedly.
    But LZNA seems based on LZMA (not ROLZ), while LOLZ name suggest ROLZ - so it is closer to RAZOR?
    LOLZ seems released 29th December 2017, RAZOR here 8th September 2017, LZNA 9th May 2015 ...

    update: year later in https://krinkels.org/resources/lolz....rce-update-863
    implemented ldmf (long distance match finder), which searches for matches outside the dictionary range of the main match finder.
    It was developed as an alternative to srep, with its pros and cons.
    So it seems it was originally on SREP, which is similar but different from ROLZ (or LZMA) - it seems LOLZ is independent implementation (?)

    funny increase then decrease:

    The same for rz: 68.4%, mcm 68.2%, lzma 69.07%.
