    PeaZip 2.6 beta

I've released the beta of PeaZip 2.6, which is mainly focused as major GUI update over previous version.
A new navigation menu allows to quickly browse the filesystem, bookmarks and history, and now search definitions (even inside of archives) can be bookmarked.
A similar navigation menu is featured in options of "Extract to" menu.
On the bottom of the application a functional bar allows to show/hide bookmarks and history panles, and to access some of the most used functions, like toggle extraction in new folder, set password, jump to archive layout etc.

    Thank you very muck!
By the way, the change log in "about_translations" package lists only the changes over the previous version.

    Hello everyone,

I have difficulties when trying the new lang-file:
PeaZip cannot parse language file de-Uml-2.6.txt and will now try to fall back to default language file en.txt
I took the lines from en.txt (starting with the line "txt_2_3_test_pw: Test for encryption (may be slow)" and all above, pasted it into the existing file de-Uml-2.2.txt, started translation and saved to de-Uml-2.6.txt.
Have I missed something? Wrong encoding? Tried UTF-8, Unicode and ANSI.

    Best regards!

Hi, the problem is that it was not updated the second section of the language file, "=== PeaLauncher text group ===" which is in the second tab of the spreadsheet in "about_translations" package
    https://sourceforge.net/project/down....zip&a=2206402
You need also to remove txt_info in PeaLauncher text group (unused in last release) as specified in the readme_about_translations.txt

Also in PeaZip text group some unused lines are needed to be removed, this is a bit more complicated because you will need to jump from 2.2 to 2.6, and as I warned for each version I report only the text strings modified in the current update, so you would need the readme of all intermediate releases.

However performing a quick comparison pasting the translated lines in a spreadsheet side by side with English ones, I've removed the unused lines and this is the resulting file, which PeaZip loads reporting no errors.

There are still the untranslated text lines I pasted from english version, and some texts were changed (they are listed in the readme file) so it still needs your attention to be fully usable.

[I'm aware it is a bit complicated, and I was quite concerned about introducing translations while the GUI was still in developement, but now I think changes involving text would be minor, so future work of translators, I hope, would be simpler]

Giorgio, are you seen freearc translations technlogy? i think it's very friendly to translators

first, i have a script that maps 7-zip transaltions to (partial) freearc ones

second, translation file includes both the english and transalted text on the same line which makes transaltion much simpler:

    0109 original=translated

third, the same script updates translation files for newwer freearc versions. actually, i use my own russian translation as a template - translation for every other language is exact copy of russian file with right (translated) sides replaced with either previous translation or "??". so, one can easily find all lines to translate in new version by searching for "??" and replacing them with translation of left side

    PeaZip 2.6

Hi, PeaZip 2.6 is now available for download, http://peazip.sourceforge.net/
I've also made some changes to the translation's spreadsheet, implementing some of Bulat's suggestions.
Now the spreadsheet contains all languages, to help translators not proficient in English, cleared of all unneded lines and showing what lines should still be translated in each language (those lines are in English).

    Hello everyone,

    Thanks too!
Got my copy some seconds ago
Any need to update existing translations (because of new translation's spreadsheet)? Only in the case I overlook something...

    Best regards!
