encode.su uses the same hosting as ctxmodel.net and my other sites, $11 per month.
Also I shared account details with @encode, so we shouldn't have the same problem again.

Whenever I log in, I get "Invalid redirect url". It's something minor, as I can go back and browse the forum normally

Sorry, no idea. I just tried logout/login in chrome and got no error.
Though I guess there could be a problem if you're still using https://encode.ru rather than .su - I do have a weird JS redirect there.

What browser did you used?
Have you tried clearing your browser cache? That should resolve most of the issues.
Have you enabled automatic redirects? Maybe new browser update changed this behavior (I faced similar problem with pop-up blocking).
Are you really at encode.su instead of encode.ru when you´re trying to login? Encode.ru is still online, but it´s permanently redirected - I still have bookmarked an old version on PC Firefox browser and works fine. There was problem when I attempt to access encode.ru by my mobile phone Lenovo A-2010 (no redirect), but that´s fixed now. As Shelwien mentioned, there could be a problem with javascript.
By browsing forum normally you mean you´re successfully logged?
It´s possible to share some printscreen?

Yes, that could be. this is the error I get:

Invalid Redirect URL (http://encode.su/)

It seems to redirect to http which is invalid. It should be https.

1.As for the old domain encode.ru, who extended that domain without access to it? It´s paid till 2020.
2.Icons on attached files are different.
3.Any chances to contact webmaster using his registration email address? Or if has a website, via registrant email or registrar company?

1. I hacked the server to find the info, then @encode paid for it.
2. Dunno. I had to install new version of forum engine, since old one didn't work on new server.
3. Nope, we tried everything I think. In any case, at this point we'd not move it back to his server even if he reappears.

icons on browser tab are different - prior it was light blue with setting icon inside. Now it´s (?)vbulletin icon. I noticed this immediately after encode.su appears, but I prior thought that it´s temporary problem - as I can see, it is not. Problem is when I am outside of http://encode.su - at https://encode.su/forum/. SSL-related issue? I don´t think so... When encode.ru was active, there wasn´t problems...

Sorry, no idea.
Icons are here: https://encode.su/favicon.ico https://encode.su/favicon.png https://encode.su/favicon114.png and all seem to be the right ones.
But there were some points (after server changed and after upgrade to php7) when forum showed default icons because I replaced the forum files with default ones.
Could it be that your browser cached them? Or uses some other file for favicon besides listed ones?

Though I didn´t test it at all, seems to be active as of now...

encode.ru still resolves to the same ip (78.46.93.39) which is still a hetzner server (https://www.ip2location.com/demo/78.46.93.39).
So either hosting did something, or they just resold the ip... former seems more likely since it doesn't look like there's a new domain: http://reverseip.domaintools.com/search/?q=78.46.93.39

Hosting did it "for security".

why it´s possible add tags to threads? Only thread starter/admin can add/alter/remove tags.

I didn't find a way to edit them even for admin (aside from SQL), tags only can be specified when creating a thread.

By using this, you can alter the behavior... But I think, as a computer expert, you are aware of that

No, I succesfully added sample tag even for thread that I wasn´t started.

Ok, now I found where I can edit tags... its kinda hard to see and I never used them.
Anyway, are you asking me to disable user editing of tags? I think its ok as is really.

As for Thanks section, it will better if there will be only space as a separator instead of comma and no space (as of writing this) . That´s not about new domain or upgrade - I noticed it even at encode.ru

Maybe some user got deleted. "Post thanks hack" is an old external plugin, so there's nobody to maintain it.
