I just discovered, from the comments on pingo homepage limitPNG:

It seems it is focused on maximum compression, but it is in chinese(guessing).

Does anyone know if there is english version?

Thanks. Indeed an english version would be nice. Maybe I could improved FileOptimizer taking a look to it!

It's "just" a nice fancy gui using well known tools. FileOptimizer is using all these tools already afaik.
(zopflipng, pngwolf, pngquant, TruePNG, PNGOUT, ECT)

i was thinking the same, because as olvavrb mentioned, it uses most of the tools as FO, but maybe in a different way. It would be definitely interesting to see what limitPNG does differently.

Exactly. Even FO uses more tools. But sure the chain can be improvement in terms of execution ordering and switches used.
