    [lecture] Practical Data Compression for Memory Hierarchy and DNNs (RUS)

    Hi.

    Here is the fresh video in russian with english auto-subtitles. Lecturer slides on video are in english originally.
    Author (Gennady Pekhimenko) is the professor in University of Toronto, worked in MS and NVidia.
    Most of the talk is near Deep Neural Networks and their copression.
    Some info is about hardware-based compression of all types of memories: CPU caches, RAM, etc.
    Almost all technicues are specific, i.e. no LZ, Huffman, etc.
