how the presentation of forbidden symbol in arithmetic coding?

hi friends
i work now with detection errror in Arithmetic coding (AC) using The forbidden symbol method
i tried choice different interval with FS=0.2 , 0.1 and 0.05
the representation curve show me that :
in interval 0.2 and in the decoding process the duration to find our FB is faster than the interval 0.1 and 0.05
it means when the interval is big , give us faster detection of error ;
-i used the FS interval in the end of range
my question is what will happen when i will depalce the range of the Forbidden symbol in the first range or in the middle ??
