Help on identifying DOS file encryption/packer

Hi Guys, I am in need of your wisdom.
Which type of packing is? Is there a DOS packer/unpacker that can be used out-of-the-box?

    Thanks in advance
    regards

    Try http://aluigi.altervista.org/quickbms.htm
    And http://zenhax.com/viewforum.php?f=9
There's nothing obvious in the files and too little information otherwise.

PAC files are from the game LEGEND aka Four crystals of Trazere in the USA. Published by Mindscape in 1990.
    I could provide more files.
    Just tried quickbms but nothing.

Check file legpic.exe inside the game, is compressed with LZEXE, unpack it (any generic dos exe unpacker will work) If you are in dos exe packing/unpacking (warning self promotion ahead), look for my huge compilation of DOS-EXE tools (packers, unpackers, identifiers, etc, ask me if you are interested)

It's a very small exe file, it references some pac file, so probably it contains code to show a pac file. If you need more help just ask.

  5. Thanks:

Thanks for the info, I've already uncompressed all the exes. I'll look into it.
