What FS do you use on your USB flash drives?

PS. Am I right that EXT4 and ZFS are adviced for desktop *nix-based OSes?
And what algorithm will you advice on choosing it depending on size? Performance is a priority of course. So many threads but no definite opinion. What about ExFAT?
Does NTFS faster than FAT32 and reduces lifetime of sticks?

I made a test a long time ago showing that copy a 2GB file from and to FAT32 stick is slower than to NTFS one (on the same stick).
But, well, I couldn't find the reason...

So generally speaking people use FAT32 for flash lifetime increase? I read `bout exfat but didn`t come to definite opinion.

Yes, it increase flash lifetime, but even you copy some big files to your NTFS flash every day,
it's lifetime still around 5 years. (mine was 6 years, copy 4 x 3GB files to 16GB HP stick everyday)
In my opinion, just use what you want. If you still want to balance lifetime and performance use ExFAT.
