    Adaptive Lossless Prediction impl in C++

    Hello all, if anyone is interested in an image compression approach using pixel reordering before prediction is done, then have a look at my blog post at This post provides info about and a github link to a C++ impl that provides a nice compressed space savings as compared to PNG with the Lena image. The original research paper this work is based on is also linked in the blog.

    Nice, I was recently thinking about something like that.
    But I'd use a compression-based metric for choice evaluation - that abs sum is not very good.
