    jpeg file recompression

    sim v2.0
    more compression ratio for jpeg files...need 8gb ram run under windows.. in windows use drag n drop to compress/extract files

    What does it do? Example images?

    lossy compression, lossless recompression ? i think i would like a bit more info before i start downloading it

    I see it created a .jpeg.sim file (archive?), but after 7 minutes of nothing happening, I just closed it.
    Seems like there is a progress indicator but it was fixed at the value "1.#j%"
    Also, it committed 27GB of RAM, but only used few MB.

    It is lossless compressor/archiver for jpeg file, it needs windows 64 bit

    From memory usage it looks more like cmix

    Maybe the result is better than packjpg but it is slower
