Identifying compression method

I had a strange compression file that I couldn't find any clue.
File signature start with *SK_ASC* and unknown compression.



The list below compression method that I tested, but doesn't match:

• LZ10
• LZ11
• LZ77
• LZO1x-1
• LZO1x-999
• LZSS
• LZW
• LZMA
• HUFF blocksize 4 & 8 byte
• RLE
• ZLIB

I had a decompression data, and still no clue for a few days.
Can anyone identify this compression method?

[File Information]

• CMP is a compressed data which always start with SK_ASC.
• BIN is a same as CMP.
• DCMP is a instant copy from memory file, which was extracted from offset 0x80CA6980.
• DMP is a data value correction by subtracted 0x80CA6980 because there so many memory scrapping dummy. (so this is the cleaned decompressed data if i guess right)
• RAM is a ram dump data

I have no idea if this is relevant, but when talking about SCSI, SK is sense key and ASC is additional sense code.

In this case SK means Silicon Knights - name of the game-dev studio who developed the Eternal Darkness game. These files are from that title.
I was not able to identify the compression used and I suppose its not so easy just because the game runs on their own SKEngine. Files' structure is quite simple (8 byte header + 0x00 terminator + compressed data) but it can be any familiar algo, just slightly modified. And there are no clues in EE3Menu.ram.raw file strings.
Best way to recognize the compression is to ... well... write a letter to developers )
Anyway, I never saw resources from GameCube so its quite interesting what kind of compression used here. It would be nice if you'll drop a line in case you'll find something.
