I've been using eXdupe for Xen Image backups and I recently wanted to compress some incremental system backups and came across a bug that I reported to the author. When you're compressing a bunch of files, it gets a "eXdupe: Error opening source file" around 805,000 files. Not sure why, ether has to do with a memory leak or a issue with File Descriptors. Anyone who wants to compress a huge about of files you may run into the same issue. I'm currently using 0.5.0, but I do hope the author takes a look at it. In order to get around it, I had to tar and pipe it into eXdupe for it to compress what I needed.

Just wanted to give people a heads up if they happen to come across a similar issue.
