Doesn't seem to be worth it for the compression ratio.

    Code:
    Quake 3 installed
    7-zip 256mb/273 1045178 KB
    CatCP 256mb/273 1134316 KB

    Battlefield 1942 installed
    7-zip 256mb/273 1056564 KB
    CatCP 256mb/273 1252788 KB
However it IS a lot faster than 7-zip but i didn't do time measurements.

Funny thing no matter how i set up the CatCP compression i only seems to use 6megs of ram
