link doesn't work, but it's probably a cheap attempt to smuggle malware onto computers:

NsPack and UPack usually trigger the antivirus alert.
But still, play with your own risk.

Tested it. It's no hacked version of Winrar or the like, but a self-written program. The symbols, menus, the whole gui-structure looks nothing like Winrar. The program is also fairly primitive. It has two compression modes: files and folders, so you can choose whether you want to compress single files or a whole folder...mix'n match doesn't work...

Furthermore, the "nar"-format is just a simple zip-file. There are no compression options. All files are zipped up with maximum compression. This program is an attempt to cash in on the gullible people by hiding the fact that "nar"-archives can be extracted with basically any zip-compatible archiver avilable.

The program consists of a single executable, which was compressed with nspack 1.04. To me, it looks like the programmer wanted to hide the fact that he used external libraries...probably those of zip. The developer website is dead and so are most downloads on chinese file servers. I had to wade through dozens of them to actually find a working download link. Shouldn't take long before it finally vanishes.
