Actually its a shortened version of what was submitted as a first pass to some US conference. Some people think there is no such thing as a BIJECTIVE BWT since it seems many think the original or mods of the original require an INDEX value to work or they belive we forgot to use the EOF marker. It seems for one thing the references got dropped off. The paper

Was the first paper to make it to a conference in Czechoslovakia both he and Gil saw my stuff on internet posts. The actually best code in linear time and space is by Yutta and its somewhere on this site.

I think for large files it does not gain a lot. If your interests lie in encryption or if you have to compress many small files its a good thing. For now the transform is slower than BWT and only a handful of people understand or use it.
