Precomp0.4.2 zlib error

Hello,

Is there a way to determine the level as which a zlib error occurs? precomp is repeatedly crashing on zlib streams. (in both default & intense modes)
I have used verbose but i could not find any level specified. Can it be known from the positions? I was hoping to avoid the crashes by specifying an appropriate z level option.

Have you tried disabling JPEG already ("-t-j")? It's the most frequent crash source for the current version, Precomp sometimes has JPEG misdetections that crash either PackJPG or one of the subsequent zLib calls.

Since its not just one instance, but multiple, i was pretty sure that its related to zlib as the window was filled with only zlib listings.
Still, i tried the -t-j option but, no change.

Appears that precomp is assuming there is zlib in a deeper level and keeps going... and hangs.(but it happens on both default & intense, so might be something else)
It there a way to determine what level its working on using the positions(2448217951 2448694262 2448850970 2449148096) or something?

You can limit the recursion depth with -d[number, upto 10] so try -d1, but try it with -c- first as that solves some crashing problems, and you'd want to use that anyways if you are then compressing the output from precomp, then try something like -s256 as well.
