RZM doesn't like to share cpu

It seem that running 4-6 instances of RZM in low piority, my WindowsXP 64 gets very sluggish.

Playback of a movie (H.264+aac) get stuttering. Even if MPC gets above normal cpu priority.

I haven noticed these kind of issues with 7-zip or winrar.
Its there a away to avoid that?

Have you tried to set the priority (taskmanager) for the RZM sessions to "low" ?
-edit- , I just realized you wrote this in your post. So you probably did that already.

BTW, I think the max number of RZM sessions for not making the system "sluggish" is #cores or # cores-1 ; ex. if you have 4 cores : use only 3 of 4 instances.
More instances will hurt compression speed,

    i might just benchmark this.
if it is true. i better optimize my batch files for that.
