Its a waste of time to work on this. You would need many samples to even get close to what he write. It's really not code its the guys shorthand and since there are so many ways to look at it. Even if you actually decoded it to the correct solution not only would you get no credit for it. The FBI would never even give it a serious look. However if some one with a name in crypto came up with a claimed solution the FBI might give credit to the guy with a name already. But for the average guy it a waste of time. At least thats my view.
