    Unhappy sum one pls help me abt precomp

    compressd sum files into xx.pcf but wen i try to recompress the same file i.e ' precomp -r xx.pcf ' it dosnt recompress....... ??

    the pcf file is of "1gb" n the resulting is file size is "0"bytes.................

    can u help with tis one ? again thnx in advance

    precomp doesn't compress. If there are deflate streams in the input, then the .pcf file will be larger but compress better with another compressor. I guess if you run precomp on a .pcf file it will overwrite it so you get a file size of 0.
