Problem with forum

I just tried creating a new password, but it would not allow me to enter the characters : % or ^ .

Is this a bug or simply something that is not allowed?

PASSWORD: your password for BB. Must contain only A-Z letters, digits and "_" sign (no spaces!). You can use password with length from 5 to 32 symbols. Why exactly 32? We dont know If seriously, try to use not more than 10 symbols.
