    Actually it's been here since 1991, just nobody has finished the program. It was written as a memory to memory compressor in C, then kind of forgotten. http://www.ross.net/compression/

    So I retrieved it from the crypt, wrote a driver and tested it. It doesn't compress that well, but it is really fast

    I added the other 5 programs. They were all written in 1991 but AFAIK this is the first time any of them have actually been used in a file compressor. See the readme file to compile.

    BTW, removing overlay one can made this executables 1/3 of their size I don't remember GCC swith though, i use fs.exe to strip ".file" section off.

    Thank you for doing this; I have always wondered how they would perform on various corpora.
