I'm not the author. I only provide here an executable faster than the one hosted on www.quicklz.com

in my tests the final compressed file with qpress 0.37 is 2 times of a final compressed file with 7z. Is it possible?? qpress 0.37 is worster than Winzip.

quicklz is designed for speed not compression ratio.
According to http://www.quicklz.com/bench.html the fastest level of quicklz is 6x faster than the fastest level of zip. Hence a worse compression ratio.
